About the event
This workshop will be fun and educational. Best of all, it will be age appropriate. The lessons are comprehensive and catered to all ages from 13-19. Break out sessions with age appropriate activities with topics helping the teens learn to: Plan, Earn, Budget, Prioritize, Invest, THEN Spend. The goal is for them to learn the value of money, the urgency of prioritizing and the strategies of budgeting and investing. We'll have props, money, shopping groceries, essential and nonessential items. The teens will be forced to budget their "money" and their parents' money. Each child will get a personalized packet according his/her household (you will receive a questionnaire so we can customize your child's props). Hopefully, some of the strategies and scenarios presented during the workshop will give our children insight and a deeper appreciation for all we do. #WealthyKidsLoading
